Mission, Vision and Values

At Little Mead Primary Academy, we continually strive to promote a culture of high ambition and foster the belief that every child within our school community can make a positive contribution to society and achieve success, regardless of their starting point. Compassion, empathy and a sense of belonging lie at the heart of our school and we are highly committed to working with families and the wider community to provide the best possible education.  

Mission Statement: To create an inclusive school where children are nurtured to become happy, compassionate and successful; able to enhance our entire community.   

Vision Statement: At Little Mead, we want a safe, inclusive, happy community where all our children are valued and able to thrive academically and socially. Our children will leave Little Mead as confident, life-long learners who are curious, ambitious and respectful.     

Values: We believe at Little Mead Primary Academy that every child can and should achieve to the best of their ability.  We believe in an inspiring curriculum based upon the latest educational research; delivered by a truly professional team of expert staff in all year groups.  We believe that pupils should not only achieve excellent results but develop into well-rounded, happy, thoughtful leaders of tomorrow.   

Our school has five core values which we expect everyone in our school community to always uphold: Teamwork, Respect, Aspiration, Courage and Kindness. These values permeate throughout everyday life in our school so that our pupils are equipped with the essential skills to achieve success and reach their full potential.
